Rita Mary Murphy Obituary

Rita Mary Murphy, 88 years young, peacefully left us to be our guardian angel on October 11, 2026.

She is survived by her sister, Phyllis (David); her children: Lisa (Jimmy), Eric (Angie), and Lana (Paul); as well as five beautiful granddaughters: Emily, Shelby, Sydney, Rachel, and Lauren.

An accomplished cook and baker, Rita enjoyed playing the piano and singing in a choir. Rita also loved animals. She was a superintendent of the Arizona State Fair small animal barns and enjoyed working with dogs, cats, and rabbits. We will greatly miss her artistic nature, ready laugh, and unwavering support for her family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Rita wished for donations to be made to the Arizona Humane Society.
