He was predeceased by: his brothers, Dale and Donald; his son-in-law Jules "Buddy"; and his parents, Vernon Gossage and Polly Gossage.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria (Best) of Ottumwa, Iowa; his children, Debra, Laurie "George" (Charles), Jay (Ann) and Michael (Sheri); his grandchildren, Shane G, Brandy, Shane C, Joshua G, Amber, Joshua B, Devin, Wade, Colton and Breanna; his great grandchildren, Ariana, Shaun, Elena, Ruby Erica, Carden, Rhealee, Hayden, Jon, Jayson, Samuel, Alexis, Jadin, Haily, Treeva and Layla; and his siblings, Dean and Penny.
