He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Vondele and Dorothy Margarite. He is survived by: his wife Tami Sue; his children, Leah Ashley (Christopher), Jesse Ryan and Melissa Robyn; his siblings, Cynthia Denise (Tony) and Leslie Rex (Jeannie); and his pet Tank.

In memory of Rusty and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Northland Christian Assembly in Flagstaff, AZ.
