With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shawn Lee Thompson (Mesa, Arizona), born in Canton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 54. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Shawn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his parents, Craig and Diane; his sister Tami; his sibling's children, Hannah and Tyler; his cousins, Madison and Jay; and his great-niece Luna.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Advantage Melcher Chapel of the Roses (43 S Stapley Dr, Mesa, AZ 85204). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
