We announce the death of Shirley J. Moe in Mesa, Arizona, who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 94. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Shirley will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Shirley will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Shirley’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Lee and Olga Lee; her husband Robert Moe; and her siblings, Don, Bobby, Larry and Viola Herzberg.
She is survived by: her brother Alan Lee (Linda); and her children, Patricia Berck (Dan), Gary Moe (Erkan), Kathryn Kirlin (Stan) and Karen Dennis (Kurt). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Funeral Home (7900 E Main St, Mesa, AZ 85207).
