He is survived by: his friend Jean Thomas; his wife Toni Gause; his children, Steve Gause II, Bill, Carolee Gause, Tracy Gause, Charlotte Gause, Tiffanie Gause and Richard Gause; his daughters-in-law, Anika Robinson, Jenni (Chris Mercer) and Lesa Standage; his sister Sandra Morgan Reese; and his friends, Gene Thomas and Larry Malloy.
