Steven Weiner Obituary
Dad passed on Tuesday, and typing that out still doesn't feel real. Because he was one of those people who felt permanent. Like the kind of man who would outlive the rest of us out of pure stubbornness — and if he did, he would've had a lot to say about it.
Dad overcame a lot.
Obstacles that would've broken other people, he just kept going. He took hits, he got back up. He adapted. He endured. He fought through things he didn't even fully talk about.
He was resilient. He was strong. And he was living proof that life can be hard… but you can still persevere. He lived life in the fast lane, and lived life to the fullest extent I think one can live.
That's part of why this is so hard to accept. Because he overcame so much that it almost feels impossible that anything would stop him.
But here's what I know: Dad didn't lose.
Dad finished.
He won his race. He did his job. He loved his people & he left his mark. He was so loved & will be so missed.
