He was predeceased by: his parents, Ole Swearingen and Marion Swearingen (Getty); his sister Peggy; his brothers-in-law, Miles and Don; and his mother-in-law Delores Nyland.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy (Knutson); his pets, Bella and Paisley; his siblings, Vernon (Myrna), Georgia, David, Terry, Jack (Karen), Jill (Greg), Susan (Ray) and Kristi (Randy); and also, Chad Noyes, Gary, Sue (Nick), Deb (Roger), Lori Jean, David (Candy), Scott Nyland, Dell Rae (Shawn) and Grant. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
