He is survived by: his wife Nan Colvin Hale; his daughter Cassandra "Cassie" Stuart (Travis); his grandchildren, Sydney Spaulding (Preston), Chandler (Danielle), Lilly and Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Walter and Matthew Spaulding; and his brothers, David (Becky) and Steve Hale (Debi).
