It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beatriz C Contreras (Nogales, Arizona), who passed away on August 3, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberto Castro and Enriqueta Castro; her significant other Manuel Contreras; and her son Manuel Gorgonio Contreras (Maryann Contreras). She is survived by: her children, Beatrice Olivas (Elias Olivas), Rosalia Contreras, Jo Aguirre (Francisco Aguirre), Martha Lundberg and Bel Contreras. She is also survived by her 17 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church or the Southern Arizona Food Bank, in honor of Beatriz's giving spirit.
