He is survived by: his children, Jorge Martin "Chuchi" Ruiz (Angie), Ariel Gerardo Ruiz (Marcella), Georgina Cardenas (Luis), Monica Maytorena (Ricky) and Jessica Lopez (Miguel); his grandchildren, Luis, Jacqueline, Nicolas, Jordan, Andres, Isabella, Juan Pablo, William, Manuel and Dominick; and his great grandchildren, Luisito, Carolina and Cecily.

A rosary will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (272 N Rodriguez St, Nogales, AZ 85621). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
