She was predeceased by: her father Dagoberto Bernal; and her brothers, Arsenio Bernal and Miguel Ángel Bernal. She is survived by: her mother Remedios Bernal; her daughter Katya Fernanda Bernal; and her siblings, Dagoberto Bernal, Antonieta Bernal, Alma Bernal, Aida Bernal and Jorge Bernal. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
