He is survived by: his wife Catherine Rose Briggs; his children, Lorraine Murphy (Michael Murphy) of Warrenton, Virginia, Patrick Briggs (Dori Salcido) of Alexandria, Dennis Briggs (Barbara Southwood) of Mountain Home and Eileen Briggs-Pastorious (Joseph Pastorious) of Tucson, Arizona.; and his grandchildren, McKenna, Liam, Sean Pastorious of Tucson, Josephine and Aidan Murphy of Warrenton.
