He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Lape and Margaret Lape (Beck); and his siblings, Jean Lape (Marie) and Mary Gresham (Gene). He is survived by: his wife Lanna Lape (Amidon); his brother-in-law Gene Gresham; and his sibling's children, Gary Lape (Carrie), Steve Gresham (Anne), James Gresham (Jill), James Przybylski (Erin), Christine Berger, Amy Harris (Shannon) and Cynthia Skora (Paul).
