He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Marie Bernicky (Bilka) and Joseph John Bernicky. He is survived by: his girlfriend Delores Miller (Dea) of Tucson, AZ; his siblings, Joanne Rosen (Raymond) of Savoy, IL and Robert (Bob) of Crossville, TN; his son Steve; his daughter-in-law Cindy of Aurora, IL; his granddaughters, Rachel of Elmhurst, IL and Danielle of Pittsburgh, PA; his daughter Tara of Naperville, IL; Arlene Bernicky (Schau). He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew and various cousins.
