With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Abril (Oro Valley, Arizona), born in San Manuel, Arizona, who passed away on December 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nancy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Nancy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Magdalena Chavez Barriga and Guadalupe Cisneros Barriga; her sister Rebecca Johnson; and her niece Christina Barriga. She is survived by: her husband Florencio Abril (Lencho); her children, Harvey Gomez (Jessica Buelna) and Rachel Tovar (Paul Tovar); and her sister Terry Salaiz (Conrad Salaiz). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and many great- grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
