It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia C. Shivers of Oro Valley, Arizona, born in Molena, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Odis Wilson Shivers; her parents, Isaac Hudson Davis and Mary Edith Pitts Davis; and her siblings, Ezelle Reynolds, Mildred Marshall, Lamar Davis and Jane Moss.

She is survived by : her children, Wendell Shivers (Teresa) of Tucson, AZ and Crystal Shivers of Oro Valley, AZ; her grandchildren, Bryan Shivers (Peccina) and Andrea Gross (Brian) of Tucson, AZ; her great grandchildren, Ronny Gross and Brice Gross of Tucson, AZ.; her sister Sybil Moore of Barnesville, GA.; her cousin Betty Buchanan of Barnesville, GA; and her niece Barbara Ann Holcomb of Woodbury, GA.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Conner-Westbury Funeral Home (1891 W McIntosh Rd, Griffin, GA 30223). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the TBD Oak Hill Cemetery (797 Memorial Dr, Griffin, GA 30224).
