We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2022, at the age of 88, Douglas Claude Shoop of Paulden, Arizona, born in Klemme, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sibert Shoop and Rose Shoop; his siblings, Barbara (Nutz) and Thomas; and his grandchildren, Claire Long and Mark Long, Jr. (Doug).

He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Gustafson (Keith) of Belmond, IA, Donna Ingram (Tom) of Checotah, OK, Dawn R. Long (Mark, Sr.) of Paulden, AZ and Dorothy A. Melton (Joe) of Muskogee, OK.; his grandchildren, Kenneth Gustafson, Angela Buskar, Rachel Gustafson, Ryan Adams, Deanna Burnett, Ivy Ingram, Nepule Lon, Lorraine Headly, Amber Barton, Bobbi Jean DeLalla and Owen Barnett; and his sister Blanche Reicherts of Clear Lake, IA. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
