With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rebecca Jean Waldrop of Payson, Arizona, born in Park City, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rebecca left this world on October 16, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rebecca shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rebecca farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her children, Paul (Bridget), Shawn (Pam) and Debbie Pownall (Dennis); and her siblings-in-law, Mark Waldrop (Diane) and Joan Waldrop. She is also survived by four Grandchildren, twelve Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Messinger Payson Funeral Home Chapel (901 S Westerly Rd, Payson, AZ 85541). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Mt. Memorial Cemetery.
