He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Hirsch and Charles H. Viegel. He is survived by: his wife Joni Viegel; and his children, Carl Viegel (Kelly), Dale Thorman (Debbie), David Thorman (Jill) and Barb Gengler (Rod). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
