He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Christina Hinckley and Fred James Kauer; and his former wife Vicky Forrey. He is survived by: his siblings, Tex, Luella, Ace, Guy, Jay, Linda, Tim, Ren and Con; his children, Ginger, Darrin, Gina, Dustin, Angela and Tyson; and his wife Karen Kauer (Archibald). He is also survived by his loving family, including 31 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (22034 N 83rd Ave, Peoria, AZ 85382). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 at the Tonaquint Cemetery (1777 S Dixie Dr, St. George, UT 84770).
