She is survived by: her husband Steven Louis Bartalsky; her children, Tara Octaviano and Paul Rice; her adoptive children, Julia Black and Tarin Hawkins; her stepsiblings, Marge Guiton, David Bartalsky, Liz Trebes and Tess Bartalsky; her grandchildren, Theresa Octaviano, Steven Bartalsky, Laura Bartalsky, Michael Bartalsky and Jason Guiton; her great grandchild Nico Bartalsky; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Nam Ju, Ian and Jett Black; her children, Laura Lynn Rice and Michael Rice; her parents, Dorothy Roberson and Jeremiah Collins; her grandmother Edith Roberson; her siblings, Dennis Collins and Julie Haugen (Yee); her grandchildren, Colby Bartalsky, Christina Bartalsky, Sean Guiton and Christopher Guiton; her sister Kathie Insel (Collins); Steven L. Bartalsky and Harold Haugen.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Red Cross or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, two causes close to Mary's heart.
