It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Steven Solomon (Peoria, Arizona) is shared. Richard, born on February 18, 1946 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away on October 9, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Solomon and Morris Solomon; his brother Allen Solomon; and his in-laws, Hubert, Regina Burke, Raymond and Barbara Sultzbach.
He is survived by: his children, Larry (Dina), Gina (Alex), Amy (Shane), Daniel (Michelle), Poppy, Jacob, Sophie, Jonah, Andrew, Addyson, Madden and Gianna; and his wife Joan. He is also survived by children, and grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Chapel (6830 W Thunderbird Rd, Peoria, AZ 85381). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Lucky Pups Pet Rescue (Abington, PA) in memory of Rich's compassionate spirit and enduring love for children and animals.
