He was predeceased by: his parents, William Graham Pearson and Mary Jane Pearson (McDonald); his brother William "Bill" Pearson; and his children, Sgt. Brice A. Pearson and Elizabeth Grace Pearson.
He is survived by: his children, Matthew (Kortney), Joshua (Brooke), Jeremy and Amy Matthew (Nikko); his grandchildren, Riley Jae Pearson, Brice Pearson, Ragnar Pearson, Braxton Utter, Ruby Preston, Brody Preston, Everly Jean Pearson, Kaiden Matthew and Ezra Matthew; his siblings, Gary (Vivian), Ken (Karolyn) and Lorri O'Malley (Tim); and his sister-in-law Julie Pearson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
