As Stephen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Stephen. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Betty Ann Stefl; his significant other David Frieberg; and his father Charles L. Stefl. He is survived by: his former wife Linda L. Lamb; his sister Suzanna Nassen Stefl; and his half-sisters, Kay Graves and Dawn Thompson. He is also survived by his 9 children, and his 11 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Arizona Humane Society.
