He is survived by: his wife Andiee Lynch Shays; his parents, Stephen J. Shays of Peoria, AZ and Jo-Ann Mastrovito Flick (Paul E. Flick) of Mesa, AZ; his brother Michael A. Shays of Phoenix, AZ; his stepsiblings, Kathleen Barger (Paul) of Gilbert, AZ and Jacob Flick (Nicole) of Mesa, AZ; and his aunts and uncles, Gerry Mastrovito (Angela) of Richmond, VA, Bob Mastrovito (Donna) of Worcester, MA, Gina Mastrovito Rossi of Worcester, Ed Mastrovito (Donna) of Worcester, MA and Debbie Shays Francis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John's Church (44 Temple St, Worcester, MA 01604).
