He was predeceased by: his former wife Celia; his wife Lydia; his parents, Alberto Gomez and Theresa Gomez; and his brothers, Raul, Ernie and Gilbert.

He is survived by: his children, Christine Pharris (John), Albert, Michael and George. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.
