He was predeceased by: his wife Avis Lee Eckman; and his brothers, Robert Hoppal, Donald (Darlene Hoppal) and Lawrence (Marilyn Hoppal). He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Hoppal (Pamela) and Bruce Hoppal (Maureen); his grandchildren, Kristen Cordell (Timothy), Melissa Noone (Chevin), Chandler Hoppal, Matthew Hoppal and Chelsea Hoppal; his great grandchildren, Braxton and Landon Cordell; his brother Paul Hoppal (Kay); and his siblings-in-law, Clara Hoppal and Laurence McGarvie (Arlene).
