With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda Jean (Dow) Beneteau (Phoenix, Arizona), who passed away on January 31, 2026 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her grandparents, William, Kathleen Nicholls, Clyde and Barbara Dow; her uncles, Dennis Walikainen and Stephen Nicholls; and her pet Gracie.
She is survived by: her parents, David Dow and Deborah Dow; her children, Caden and Avery; her sisters, Rebecca Ylitalo (John) and Elizabeth Hillgartner (Daniel); her nephews, Connor, Tyler Ylitalo, Nicholas and Calvin Hillgartner; her niece Maya; her aunts and uncles, James, Patricia Destrampe, Emily Walikainen, Michael and Christine Stark; her cousins, Laura, John, Erin and Eric; the father of her children Jeff Beneteau; her pet Lola; and her friends, Jaime and Sunny. She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family plans to establish a scholarship in Amanda's name through the Hancock Public Schools Foundation to support future nurses, honoring her lifelong dedication to the profession.
