He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Simon Pongratz and Anna Pongratz (Lengyel); and his parents-in-law, Simon (Edith), Anna, Odon, Gergely, Erno (Magdolna), Kristof, Balint (Eleanor) and Maria (Frank).
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Marie Buba of Bernadette's Church; his sons, Andrew Christopher, Edmund Henry, Joseph Simon and Stephen Paul; his grandchildren, Annamaria, Andrew Kristof, Adam, Therese Kuffel (Charles) of Champlin, MN, Veronica, Zachary, Nicholas, Gabriel, Edmund (Stacy) of Phoenix, AZ, Jakob, Lucas, Joseph (Anissa) of Tempe, AZ, Nickolas, Nathaniel, Ava, Madison, Macy, John, Stephen (Serena) of Surprise, AZ, Brennan, Ashlyn and Heather (Nick); and his great grandchildren, McKenzie, Hunter and Logan. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church (200 Lexington St, Belmont, MA 02478). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Cross Armenian Catholic Church.
