We announce the death of Angelita Aguilera in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 71. Angelita will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo B. Cantu and Felicitas R. Cantu; and her siblings, Jose Guadalupe Cantu (Hortencia) and Eminencio Cantu. She is survived by: her husband Roberto Aguilera; her children, Cassandra Ortiz (Jeffrey) and Roberto Aguilera Jr.; her grandson Jeffrey Jr.; her siblings, Irene Morado (Jorge), Domingo Cantu, Maria Heredia and Gilberto Cantu (Sylvia); and her sister-in-law Armandina Cantu. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heavenly Grace Memorial Park Funeral Home (26873 White Ranch Rd, La Feria, TX 78559). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
