He is survived by: his wife Denise Whitney; his stepdaughters, Jenny Kim and Andrea Lew; his stepson-in-law Chang Ho Kim; his stepgranddaughter Sophia Kim; and his siblings, Thomas Whitney, Mark Whitney, Debra Whitney, Cosette Whitney, Raymond Whitney, Therese Hannemann, Mary Schrock and David Whitney. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
