He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Scott and Phyllis Scott of Phoenix. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Becker; his friends, Dick Sprang, Stan Jones and Harvey Leake; his siblings, Helen and John; and his daughters, Susan Brannon, Elizabeth Rothfuss and Tricia Merrill. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren—and many nephews, nieces, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Thumbbutte Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Glen Canyon Institute or Doctors Without Borders.
