He was predeceased by: his daughters, Sherill Lynn and Tracie Lynn. He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Kathryn Louise Orr); and his children, Benjamin, Barbara and Joanne. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

His greatest challenge, and his brightest moments were shared when Kathy developed Alzheimer's.
