He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, one great-grandson.

Please let them know they are all in my prayers. As children we grew up across the street from each other. I found out about bens passing from jim spano, he and his wife are our dearest and closest friends. I am so sorry for your loss, i know a ben was loved by many.”
