She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sheely and Agnes Sheely (Woods) of Coggon, Iowa.; her husband Richard Smith; her daughter Carol; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne Rick (George), Sharon Parbs (David), Linda Coonrad (Rick), Richard Smith (Doris) and Daniel Smith; and her grandchildren, Matthew Rick (Holly), Robert Smith, Heather Rick, Michael Parbs (Heather), Tiffany Smart (Will), Bruce Rick (Zuhal), Jonathan Coonrad (Brittany), Ryan Coonrad (Marcelle), Eric Coonrad (Nicole), Ashley Scott (Austin), Anthony Smith (Mackenzie) and Dr. Joshua Parbs (Jason).
