She was predeceased by: her parents, Berta Vanschaick and Clifton Vanschaick; her husband Donald Berlin; her children, Bobby Don Berlin and Patricia Dawn Priesner; and her sister Lavenia Wilburn.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Berlin and Michael Berlin; her grandchildren, Fierro Priesner, Dakota Priesner, Deanna Berlin, Austin Berlin and Justin Berlin; her great grandchildren, Roarie and Aurora; and her sister Florence Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley Ryan House in memory of Bertha.
