She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Quincy Mae and Fannie Mae of Washington; her former husband Irving Joseph Scales Sr.; her children, Irving Scales Jr., Inez Scales, Isaac Scales and Isaiah Scales (Jessica); her sister Gloria Price (Leo); her grandchildren, Ciara Betty Scales, Noah Scales, Mayanga Scales and Malik Scales; and her great grandchild Zakiya Souljah. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
