He is survived by: his children, Meg (Don), Cathy (Jim), Dotty (Tom), Chuck (Jane), Maryellen, Judy (Tom), Jim (Patty), Terri (Jim), Linda (Charlie), John (Wendy), Steve (Lori) and Ed (Mariah); and his stepchildren, Tom and Debbie (Phil). He is also survived by 80 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Charlie's name to Hospice of the Valley, Arizona Cancer Center, or The ALS Association.
