“Lieve familie van Carrol, Gecondoleerd met het overlijden van jullie dierbare. De ontmoeting met Carrol toen wij 11 jaar waren in Amsterdam, Frans Halsschool zal altijd in mijn hart blijven. Wij werden vriendinnen en zo mocht ik kennis maken met haar familie in Mijdrecht en Amsterdam Z.O. Toen zij naar Amerika verhuisde en ik naar Curacao en Suriname hadden wij schriftelijk contact maar daarna hebben wij elkaar nog maar 1 keer mogen zien. Wat zal ik haar toch missen. Marjo Staphorst-Disbergen”
