It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Celia Parkinson (Phoenix, Arizona), who passed away at the age of 93, on April 8, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fern Penrod and Phaon Lewis Mettie; her husband Charles R. Parkinson; her sons, Louis Bert Parkinson (Judy) and Richard C. Parkinson; her sons-in-law, John Behn and Darwin Webb; and her sisters, Marie, Jerri and Waldene.

She is survived by : her children, Deborah Webb of Lakeside, Cheryl Harville (Barry) of Lakeside and Frank Parkinson (Myra) of Lakeside; and her siblings, Janet Smeltser of Phoenix, Joe Mettie (Linda) and Louis Mettie of Lakeside. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeside Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (1520 Church Ln, Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ 85929). A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Lakeside Cemetery.
