Christopher Michael Fentress Obituary
Christopher Michael Fentress (53) went home to heaven Monday, June 6, 2022, at 2:18 pm after suffering a stroke on May 17, 2022. Christopher (Chris) was born on November 20, 1968, to Sheryl Dawn (Van Englehovan) Fentress and Patrick Van Fentress in Phoenix, Arizona.
Chris loved to work with his hands and his friends considered him a JOAT (Jack of all trades) as he could do anything electrical, mechanical, or constructional. He was also a JOAT when it came to his hobbies and the sports he enjoyed whether it be baseball, basketball (go SUNS), boating, scuba diving or just enjoying the outdoors. A quiet and gentle man, Chris had a gift with both people and animals and was loved by all who knew him. He loved being surrounded by friends and family and was known to go out of his way to ensure someone else was alright or given help even when he, himself, was in need.
Chris is survived by his wife of 22 years, two daughters, his parents, three half-siblings, and many members of his extended family.
His legacy, charisma, and kindness live on. His memory will always be with us and he will never be forgotten by his many friends and relatives.
It was Chris's desire to be cremated and to have his ashes scattered at Lake Powell where he spent so many cherished days with family and friends.
A private Celebration of Life event for friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Wonderin Bar at 4140 East McDowell Road, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
