He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Jefferson Hunnicutt, Jr. and Edna Earle Hunnicutt. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ann Hunnicutt; his children, Susan Elizabeth Sward (Cliff), Clyde Mason Hunnicutt, Jr. (Joy) and Lela Ann Hunnicutt-Mack (Greg); his grandchildren, Sophie Sward, Alexander and Brendan Mack; his siblings, Carol Hunnicutt Stanley (Mike) and Tim Hunnicutt (Sharon); and his brother-in-law Steve Franks (Carol). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Clyde died Saturday, October 4, 2025 from complications related to Parkinson's and dementia.
