He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick "Fritz" Raith and Audrey Olson; his son Steven Raith; his brother Richard Raith; and his cousins, Gary Cooraugh and Kathy Lundstad.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Joanna, Jason (Amanda) and Roy (Delia); his grandchildren, Gregory (Emily), Kyle (Cheyenne) and Emma; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Adley, Wyatt, Nora and Jaxon; and his siblings, David, Clare and Cheryl Merfield.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, reflecting Dan's commitment to America's heroes.
