He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Graef and Dorothea Graef; his wife Claudia Graef; his stepson William Nebeker (Janelle); his grandchildren, Matt Nebeker, Marshall Nebeker (Tessa), Garrett Nebeker-Hay (Connor), Blythe Nebeker, Zak Shoush (Angela) and Trevor Shoush (India); his great grandchildren, Bodie, Emma and Siena; and his stepdaughter Liz Sever (Mark).

He was a former president and life member of the American Cancer Society as well as a management consultant to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Phoenix.
