It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Mabel Layne (Phoenix, Arizona), born in Fordland, Missouri, who passed away on August 21, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Layne. She is survived by: her son Chuck Layne (Barbara); her grandchildren, Conrad Layne and Becky Short (Royal); and her great grandchildren, Riah Short and Rusty Short. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity.
