It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Appelbe (Phoenix, Arizona), born in Fresno, California, who passed away on September 30, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John M. Appelbe; her parents, Rosamond Ryan and James Ryan; and her brother Michael Ryan. She is survived by: her children, Rosamond "Rosie" Moore (John), Mary Katherine "Katie" Fernandez (Berk), Therese Appelbe, Andrea "Andie" Cullinan (Steve), John Appelbe (Laura), Jane Lydon (Tony) and Margaret "Maggie" Byrne (Andy); her brothers, Mayo Ryan (Karlene) and Greg Ryan; and her child Tookie. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
