Dorrie Alexander Obituary

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, Dorrie Alexander, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Phoenix, Arizona. By her side was Chad, her cherished nephew and caregiver; her brother, Joe; and his wife, Lynnda.

Dorrie was born on July 2, 1953, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dorrie dedicated her life to helping people, spending many years in the Salvation Army. Her passion for the Lord's work had a lasting impact on her life and the lives of others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Margaret Alexander; her sister, Martha Ann; sister, Susan; nephew, Nathan; and her niece, Nicole.

She is survived by her three sisters: Lisa, Cindy, and Merry; her brothers, Jack and Joe; and many other cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life will be held privately in Minnesota by the immediate family at a later date.
