He was predeceased by: his mother Candida Cruz (Candy); his brother-in-law Ernest Miller (Ernie); his nephew Jonathon Miller; his great grandchild Aidan Cruz; his sisters-in-law, Chris Seiber and Kathy Slage; and his mother-in-law Frances Herrick.
He is survived by: his father Reverend Julio Cruz; his wife Janet Herrick; his daughters, Danielle Cruz of Phoenix, AZ and Kerri Cruz (Alexander Koenig) of Millbrook, AL; his stepson Shane Knapp (Erin) of Jamestown, NY.; his sisters, Alba Arters (Doug) of Gerry, NY, Myrna Cruz Miller of Jamestown, NY, Priscilla Schiff (Steve) of Paducah, KY and Laurie Mattiuzzo (David) of Lockport, NY; and his in-laws, David Herrick of Phoenix, AZ, Marty Herrick of Jamestown, NY and Danette Herrick of Jamestown, NY.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
