She was predeceased by: her parents, Vida Melvin and Peter Melvin; her husband Jim Gage; and her siblings, Carl Melvin, Charles Melvin, Pete Melvin, Joe Melvin, Jerry Melvin and Laura Eddy.
She is survived by: her brother George Melvin; and her children, Sherry Fine, James Wilber, Shelley Benton, Linda Wilber and John Gage. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Ella also donated many years volunteering at the Glendale American Legion where she loved to dance and spend time with friends.
